So it happened the other day that I was going through my daughter’s math coloring booklet, and there it was: a sheet with a soccer player shooting the ball, asking the reader to spot the right ball for him to shoot it. The correct ball was spotted based on a result of a simple addition quiz.
I thought about pushing the concept further, mixing addition quizzes with subtraction ones, draw up a goalie, a referee and a couch. Also, I’ve added a time limit. In 11 minutes, those 11 quizzes must be solved else the referee will signal it as a goal, and the game is over. I've summed it all up in a free downloadable, printable colorful math game sheet!
I’d really love to read some comments of other parents on how to further develop this concept, suggesting more sports and similar ideas.
If you find this sheet of value, you can always show me your support with some Paypal donations (top right), or at least look for an ad that interests you and click it! I want to state that the cartoon cliparts used in this sheet came from www.clipproject.info website.
